Heloísa Rivas
Our international guest speaker — Heloísa Rivas — is from Boston and speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, and Italian. She is has been in the Christian Science healing practice for many years. And her desire to help mankind comes through in her warmth and enthusiasm. She will be helping the audience explore how prayer can improve their life conditions.
Heloísa says, “Health is a vast subject, dear to everyone’s hearts and very much in the thought of everyone in the world, in every land and culture. Christian Science presents the concept of health in a radically different and unique way. It is a way of life that includes communion with the source of harmony, God Himself.” She points out that Christ Jesus taught man’ inseparability with God who governs the universe.
Heloísa is a Christian Science Practitioner & Teacher and a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. She has been published in the Christian Science periodicals many times and has served as Managing Editor of The Herald of Christian Science (international publication currently published in 14 languages) and as Associate Editor of The Christian Science Sentinel.
Her lecture is entitled, “Health is a spiritual reality“.
